by excgvating, grading and paving the same, by the installation of
drainage facilities therein, and by the construction of curbs and
gutters Where the Director of ~ublic Works determined that adequate
curbs and gutters did not exist, such paving consisting of a two
inch (2") Hot Mix As~haltic Concrete pavement on a six inch (6")
line stabilized base, and doing of other work incidental thereto.
all aslprovided for in, and in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations for such improvem~nts, having been performed and completed
in accordance with the re,nm and provisions of the Contract and the
plans and specifications therein contained, dated August 21, 1961,
betweea the City of Dento~, Texas, and Public Construction
and the Director of Public Works of the City of Denton having
measured, examined and caused to be tested the finished ~mprove-
ments by the means and in the manner provided forby the terms of
such contract and the plans and specifications therein contained,
and the said~Director of P~blic Works having found that such
provements have been constructed and completed in full satisfaction
and co~liance with the terms of such contract and the plans and
specifications therein contained, and having approved and accepted
said i~provements and work and having heretofore issued his
Certificate of Acceptance, end having so certified to the City
council of the City of Denton, Texas, and having recommended that
such City Council accept and receive said work and ~mprovements
as constructed by the said Public Construction Company. and said
work a~d improvements having been found by the City Manager, the
Mayor and the City Council of the City of Denton. Texas, to have
been ~rformed and co~pleted in full satisfaction and compliance
with the terms of said contract and plans and specifications, the
same are hereby now accapte~ and approved by said City Council of
the City of ~enton, Texas.
S~CTT~ 2.
That the Mayor and the City Secretary of the City of Denton,
Texas, are hereby authorized and directe~ to issue assignable special
assessment certificates ~ayable to the City of Denton, Texas, evi-
dencing the assessments against the property improved abutting upon
said streets withi~ the limits above defined, and against the real
and t=ue owners thereof, which, by the terms of Ordinance No. 61-16,
passed and approved oll the llth day of July, A.D 1961, have hereto-
fore been authorized, said assessment certificates to be executed in
the na~e of ~-~e City of Denton, Texas, by the Mayor and the City
Secretary thereof and imprease~ with the seal of said City, and
dated ~as of the date of this ordinance, and such officers are hereby
autho~iznd and dlrecte~ to execute said certificates in their official
capacities on behalf of said City.

passage and approval.
PASSBD AND APPROVED this 23rd day of April, A.D. 1963, by an
affir~ative vote of four-fifths (4/5) or more of the City Council.

said Ci~ that the work of ~aproving the following streets and
portions thereof in the City of Denton, Texas, has been cOmpleted
by PubLic Construction C~pany in accordance with the terms of a
contract entered into by and between the City of Denton, Texas, and
the sa~ld Public construction COS~psny dated Auguet 21, 1961, and in
accordlaace with the term of Ordinance No 61-16 passed and approved
on the 1Lth day of ~uLy, &.D. 1961, ordering such £mprovements, and
that such ~mprovements have been constructed and completed in full
compliance with the terms of such contract° and with the plans and
spec£~Lcations therein contained or referred to, and I do hereby
recomnlend that the HonorabLe City Council accept and receive said
work and ~mp~ovements as constructed by the sa£d Public Construction
