CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS
ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS Ii AND III OF
~HAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF O~DINANCES OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19,
AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOTS 6, 6 1 AND 6 2,
BLOCK 3012 IN THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
MORE PARTICULAI~LY DESCRIBED HEREIN~ AND DE-
CLARINO AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS~
SECTION I That the Zoning Map of the City of
Denton, Texas, 1961, &do_bred as a part of Parts II and III
of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Tgxas, under the provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the
s~me is hereby, amended as follows
All of the hereinafter described property is
hereby remove~ from the "R" - Dwelling District
as shown on said map, and all provisions of Parts
II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Denton, Texas, as provided by
Ordinance No. 61-19, shall hereafter apply to
said property as "A-2" - Dwelling District property
in the same m~ner as other property locate~ in
the "A-2" - Dwelling Districts
Ail that cer~a~,n lot, tract or parcel of land
situated in the City and County of Denton, Texas,
and being more particularly described as followss
Being all of Lots 6, 6 1 and 6.2, Block 3012, as
shown on the Official City Map of the City of
Denton, Texas.
SECTION 2 The City Council of the City of Denton,
Texas, hereby finds that such change is in accordance with
a tcomprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general
welfare of the City of Denton, and with reasonable consideration,
among other things, for the character of the district and for
its peculiar suitability for particular uses, and with a view
to conserving the value of buildings end encouraging the most
appropriate use of such land for the maximum benefit to the
City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens
SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall be in full
f~rce and effect immediately after its passage and approval,
the required public hearings having heretofore been held by
the Planning and Zoning commission and the City Council
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of February, A D
