AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SOME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF
PARTS II AND III OF C~APTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF T~E CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CITY LOTS II, III AND IV OF
BLOCK 208, SANGER BROTHERS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBEDI~HEREIN AND~ECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas,
1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under the
provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
Ail of the hereinafter described property is hereby
removed from the (LB) - Local Business District as shown
on said map, and all provisions of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Denton, Texasm as provided by Ordinance No 61-19, shall
hereafter apply to said property as "LI" Light Industrial
property in the same manner as other property located in
the "LI" L~ght Industrial D~str~ct
Ail those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land s~tuated
· n the County of Denton, State of Texas, being known and
described as all of City Lots 2m 3, and 4 of Block
208, Sanger Brothers Addlt~on to the City of Denton,
Texas, from the A Hill Survey, Abstract No 623 (Also
known as 215 Fort Worth Dr~ve)
SECTION II That the City Council of the City of Denton,
Texas, hereby f~nds that such changes in accordance w~th a
comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general
welfare of the City of Denton, and w~th reasonable consideration,
among other th~ngs, for the character of the d~str~ct and for 1ts
pecular suitability or particular uses, and with a view to conserving
the value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate uses
of land for the maximum benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its
citizens
SECTION III That th~s Ordinance shall be ~n full force
and effect ~medlately after 1ts passage and approval, the re-
quired ~ubl~c hearings having heretofore been held by the
Planning and Zoning Co~lss~on and the City Council
