1964-034 ORDINANCE NO ~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TF~E ZONING NAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEX~S, 1~61, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II A~D III OF CF2%PTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO THE WESTOVER AND FOXHUNT ADDITIONS, TO THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I That the Zoning Map of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under the provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same ~s hereby amended as follows All of the hereinafter described property ~s hereby removed from the "R" - Dwelllng D~str~ct as shown on sa~d map, and all prov~slons of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance No 61-19, shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as "LB" - Local Bus~ness property an the same manner as other property located ~n the "LB" - Local Buslness D~strlct All those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land situated in the County of Denton, Texas, being known and descrlbed as all of lots 1 thru 18 of the D B Boyd Subdivision All of lots 1 thru 11 of the Westovsr Addition All of Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 of the Foxhunt Addition, also tract described as follows BEGINNING at the northeast corner of lot 1 of the Westover Addition, an the SBL of Eagle Dr~ve, T~ENCE south w~th the EBL of the Westover Addlt~on 200 feet, THENCE east 7~Sfeet, thence north 50 feet, THENCE east 80 feet with the NBL of Lot 1 of the D B Boyd Subdivision in the WBL of Colller Street, THENCE North 150 feet, thence west with the SBL of Eagle Drive 155 feet, more or less to the place of beginning SECTION II The City Council of the City of Denton, TExas, hereby finds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, and with reasonable consideration, among other things, for the character of the district and for its peculiar su~tablllty for particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate use of such land for the maximum benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens SECTION III.
