AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A TPACT OF LAND CONTISUOUS AND
ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BEING ALL THAT
LOT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND CONSISTING OF 11 338 ACRES
LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE COUNTY OF DENTON,
STATE OF TEMAS AND BEING IN THE C. CARTER SURVEY,
ABSTRACT 275, DENTON COUNTYe TEXAS, CLASSIFYING THE
SAME AS DWELLING DISTRICT PROPERTY AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the ordinance was initially introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, on
~ ~ , 1964, on the petition of Texas Empire Develop-
~ent Corporation, a Texas Corporation, and
WHEREAS, this ordinance has been published in full one time
in the official newspaper of the City of Denton, Texas, at least
30 days prior to effective date, and
WHEREAS, an opportunity was afforded, at a public hearing
held for that purpose on f~/ w ~ , 1964, for all
interested persons to stat~ their vie s and present evidence
bearing upon the annexation provided by this ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY
ORDAINS
SECTION 1
That the hereinafter described tract of land be and the same
KS hereby annexed to the City of Denton, Texas, and the same Ks
made hereby a part of said City and the land and any present and
future inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all the rights
and privileges of other citizens of said City and shall be bound
by the acts and ordinances of said City now in effect or which
may hereafter be enacted and the property situated therein shall
be subject to and shall bear its pro-rata part of the taxes levied
by the C~ty The tract of land hereby annexed is descrlbed as
follows, to wlt
All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land, lying
and belng s~tuatsd ~n the County of Denton, State of
Texas, and being a part of the C Carter Survey, Abstract
275, Denton County, Texas, and being more particularly
described as follows
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of the Northwood
Subdivision, Installment %2, said point being the
Southwest corner of a tract of land conveyed to
Wilson H Brown by J D Brown and H G Brown (2/3
1nterest) as recorded 1n Volume 501, Page 207, Deed
Records of Denton County, Texas, also being 25 feet
East of the Southeast corner of Lot 15, Block F of
the Northwood Subdivision, Installment %2,
THENCE North 1°11' East parallel to and 25 feet East
of the West r~ght-of-way of Old North Road, a distance
of 706 09 feet to a polnt for corner
T~ENCE South 88o28' East a distance of 371 05 feet
to the beg~nnlng of a curve to the r~ght w~th a
central angle of 12o20' and a radius of 775 feet,
THENCE around sa~d curve a distance of 166 82 feet
to the end of sa~d curve an ~ron p~n for corner,
THENCE South 76o08' East a d~stance of 245 46 feet
to an ~ron pin for corner,
THENCE South 13o52, West a distance of 200 feet to an
iron pin for corner,

an ~ron p~n for corner,
T~ENCE South 13o52' West a d~stance of 202 4 feet to the
beginning of a curve to the right having a central angle
of 77o40' and a radius of 300 0 feet,
THENCE around said curve, a distance of 406 66 feet
to the end of sa~d curve,
THENCE North 88o28, West a d~stance of 423 95 feet to
the place of beginning, containing an all 11 338 acres
of land
SECTION 2
The above described property ~s hereby classified as Dwelling

SECTION 3
This Ordlnanee shall be effective immediately upon its final
