1964-021 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF DENTON~ TEXAS, CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF "CONCRETE
BATCHING OR READY MIX PLANTS" FROM HI - HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT TO LI - LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, REPEALING
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Code of Ordanances of the Caty of Denton, Texas, as
hereby amended by deletang the phrase
"concrete batchang or ready max plants"
from Artacle 13 21 (a) (4) an Chapter Tharteen of saad Code of
Ordanances whach shall hereafter exclude such phrase
SECTION II.
That at as the intent of thas Councal to anclude concrete
batchang plants wlthan the uses permatted an the LI - Laght
Industraal Dastrlct
SECTION III
That all ordanances or parts of ordanances ~n force when the
provasaons of thas ordanance become effective whzch are anconsastent
or an conflict wath the terms or provaslons contained an thas
ordanance are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflact
SECTION IV
That if any sectaon, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word ~n th~s Ordanance, or applacataon thereof to any
person or carcumstances is held anvalad by any court of competent
]urasdactaon, such holding shall not affect the valadaty of the
remalnang portaons of thas Ordanance, and the Caty Council of the
City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares at would have enacted such
remaanlng portaons despate any such anval~daty
SECTION V
Tha, t th%s Ordinance shall become effectmve fourteen (14) days
from the date of ~ts passage, and the Czty Secretary ~s hereby
directed to cause the caption of thzs Ordinance to be publashed
twice an the Denton Record Chronzcle wathan ten (10) days of the
date of its passage
