1964-013 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLANTING ARTICLE 13 23 (a)
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR OFF-STREET PARKING REPEALING CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES, PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE, AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I.
That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas,
Ks hereby amended by substituting new Subsection (a) of Article
13 23 in Chapter Thirteen, Part Two, of said Code of Ordinances
which shall hereafter read as follows
ARTICLE 13 23 OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING SPACE
REQUIREMENTS
(a) Off-street Parklnq Space
In all zoning dlstrlcts~ere shall be provided,
in connection with the appropriate allowable
uses, off-street parking space in accordance
with the requirements indicated in the following
table

SECTION II.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in force when the
provisions of this ordinance become effective which are ~ncons~stent
or in conflzct with the terms or prov~s~ons contained in th~s
ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict
SECTION III.
That if any section, subsectzon, paragraph, sentence~ clause,
phrase or word in this Ordlnance~ or application thereof to any
person or c~rcumstances zs held znvalzd by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the
rema~nzng portions of th~s Ordinance, and the C~ty Council of the
Czty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares zt would have enacted such
remaining portions despzte any such znvalzd~ty
SECTION IV.
That thzs Ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of its passage, and the Czty Secretary
Ks hereby d~rected to cause the captzon of thzs Ordinance to be
publzshed twice zn the Denton Record Chronicle within ten (10)
days of the date of its passage
