1964-010THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Code of Ordinances of the Czty of Denton, Texas,
hereby amended by ~ncludang new Artzcle 16 241 an Chapter Saxteen
of saad Code of Ordanances whach shall hereafter read as follows
ARTICLE 16 241 COLLISION WITH UNATTENDED VEHICLES AND
FIXTURES
It shall be unlawful for the draver of any vehacle to
cause same to collzde wath any unattended vehicle, or
wath any faxture legally upon or adjacent to a publac
street or haghway
SECTION II
That af any sectaon, subsectaon, paragraph, sentence, clause,
or phrase or word an thas Ordlnance, or applacataon thereof to any
person or carcumstances as held anval~d by any court of competent
]urisdactaon, such holdlng shall not affect the valadmty of the
remamn~ng portlona of thzs Ordmnance, and the Caty Council of the
Caty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares at would have enacted such
remaanang portaons despate any such anval~daty
SECTION III
That th~s Ordlnance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of lts passage, and the C~ty Secretary as
hereby darected to cause the captlon of thas Ordanance to be
publashed twace an the Denton Record Chronicle w~th~n ten (10)
