AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF DENTON~ TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART
OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDI-
NANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS~ BY~O/~D~NANCE NO ~
61-19, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT i~/~OCK ~ /~C
AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL CITY MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS~ AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton,
Texas, 1961, adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under the
provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be, and the same Ks hereby
amended as follows
All of the hereinafter described property ms hereby
removed from the "LB" Local Business as shown on
said map, and all provmslons of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordlnances of the City of
Denton, Texas, as provlded by Ordinance No 61-19,
shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as "LI" Lmght
Industrial District property an the same manner as other
property located an the "LI" - L~ght Industrial D~strlct
All that certamn lot, tract or parcel of land smtuated
an the City and County of Denton, Texas, and bemng more
partmcularly descrmbed as follows
Lots 16 and 17 in Block 165 of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
as recorded an the Plat Records of Denton County, Texas,
(located at the Northwest corner of East McKmnney Street
at Bradshaw Street)
SECTION 2 The City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
hereby f~nds that such change ~s an accordance wmth a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promotmng the general welfare of the C~ty
of Denton, and with reasonable consmderatlon, among other things,
for the character of the district and for its peculiar suitability
for particular uses, and with a v~ew to conserving the value of
buildings and encouraging the most appropriate use of such land for
the maximum benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens
SECTION 3 That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect lrmnedlately after 1ts passage and approval, the required
public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and
Zoning Commission and the City Council
