constztuted officers and members of sazd Czty Counczl, to-wzt

Howard Gentry Frank A Camp, Jr

and all of said persons were present, except the followzng

minutes of sazd Meetzng, that the above and foregozng paragraph
zs a true, full, and correct excerpt from sazd City Counczl's
minutes of sazd Meetzng pertaznzng to the passage of sa~d Or-
dinance, that the persons named zn the above and foregoing para-
graph are the duly chosen, quallfzed, and acting offzcers and
members of sa~d Czty Counczl as zndzcated therezn, and that each
of the officers and members of sazd Czty Counczl was duly and
suffzczently notzfzed offzczally and personally, zn advance, of

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
1 That the City Secretary is directed to Issue a
Notice of Sale of Bonds in substantially the following form
"OFFICIAL NOTICE OF SALE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS
$1,000,000
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS,
SERIES 1966
$1,000,000
WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS,
SERIES 1966
The City Council of the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas,
will receive sealed bids at the Municipal Building zn the
, City of Denton until
10 30 AM, CST, Tuesday, January 25, 1966,
for the purchase of
$1~000~000 General Obligation Bonds, to be dated January 15,
1966, and to mature serially January 15 each year 1968
through 1986
$1~000~000 Water and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, to be dated
January 15, 1966, and to mature serially on July 15 each
year 1967 through 1986
Sealed bids, plainly marked "Bid for Bonds", should be
addressed to "Honorable Mayor and City Council, City of
Denton, Texas", and must be submitted on the "Official Bid
Form" to be made available by the City Council prior to
the date of sale
Ail sealed bids will be publicly opened and tabulated be-
fore the Council
Copies of the "Official Statement" and "Official Bid Form"
are being prepared and will be mailed to prospective bidders
on or about January 6, 1966, and will be furnished to any
prospective bidder upon request, by First Southwest Company,
