1965-003 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
0F DENTONe TEX~S, PROVIDING NEW PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS
FOR PORTIONS OF MINGO ROAD, LOOP 288, AND THE FRONTAGE
ROADS OF U.S. INTERSTATE 35 E, REPEALING CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES, PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE, AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ECTION I.
That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dentone Texas,
hereby amended by adding three (3) Streets or Highways to
Article 16 24 (a) {2) ~n Chapter S~xteen of sazd Code of Ordinances
which shall hereafter read as follows

SECTION II,,
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in force when
the provisions of this ordinance become effective which are
~nconslstent or in conflict w~th the terms or provisions con-
tanned in thzs ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of
any such conflict.
SECTION III~
That if any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence,
clause~ phrase or word an thas ordanance, or applacatzon thereof
to any person or carcumstances is held ~nvalad by any court of
competent ]urasdactaon, such holdang shall not affect the
validity of the remaanang portaons of thas ordanance~ and the
Caty Councal of the Caty of Denton, Texas~ hereby declares at
would have enacted such remalnang portions despate any such
anvaladlty
SECTION IV.,
That thas ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of ars passage, and the Caty Secretary Ks
hereby darected to cause the captaon of this ordanance to be
published twace an the Denton Record Chronacle wathan ten (10)
days of the date of ats passage
