AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE PART OF ORDINANCE NO 65-3
WHICH PROVIDED NEW PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS FOR PORTIONS
OF LOOP 288, AND THE FRONTAGE ROADS OF U.S INTERSTATE 35E,
AND DECIARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SEGTION I.
That the Code of ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas,
zs hereby amended by removing the followmng named streets or
hmghways from Article 16 24 (a) (2) mn Chapter Smxteen of sazd
Code of Ordinances
i ) U S Hxghway Loop No 288
2 ) U S Hzghway Interstate No. 35E Frontage Roads
SECTION II~
That all ordznances or parts of ordinances ~n force when the
proviszons of thms ordznance become effectmve which are lnconsmstent
or mn conflxct with the terms or provmslons contained ~n thms
ordlnance are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict
S,ECTIQ~ III,~
That if any section, suhsectmon, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereof to any
person or c~rcumstances ~s held invalid by any court of competent
3ur~sd~ctlon, such holdlng shall not affect the valmdmty of the
remaining portions of thls ordinance, and the C~ty Councml of the
City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares ~t would have enacted such
remaining portlons despite any such mnvalzdmty
SECTION IV,
That thzs ordinance shall become effective mmmedmately after
mts passage, and the City Secretary is hereby directed to cause
the captlon to he published zn the Denton Record Chronmcle wmthzn
