AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF
PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO. 61-19,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO PORTIONS OF BLOCKS 3021 AND
3022 OF THE OWSLEY PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION It
That the Zoning Map of the C1ty of Denton, Texas, 1961.
adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the
Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, under the
provisions of Ordinance No 61-19 be and the same is hereby
amended as follows
Ail of the herelnafter described property ~s hereby
removed from the "R"- Dwelling District as shown on said
mapm and all provlsions of Parts II and III of Chapter 13
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas,
as provlded by Ordinance No 61-19, shall hereafter
apply to sa~d property as "A-2"- Dwelllng D~strlct in
the same manner as other property located ~n the "A-2" -
Dwelling D~strlct
City lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18
of Block 3022 Property 1s bounded by Charlotte Street
on the north, Avenue H on the west and Louise Street on
the south
Also C~ty lots 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 of Block 3021 Property
is bounded by Loulse Street on the north and Avenue G on
the east
SECTION II.
That the Clty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
hereby f~nds that such change ls 1n accordance w~th a compre-
hensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare
of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration,
among other thlngs~ for the character of the dlstr~ct and for
· ts peculiar suitability or particular uses, and wlth a v~ew
to conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
appropriate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the C~ty
of Denton~ Texas, and ~ts c~t~zens
SECTION III.
That thzs ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately after 1ts passage and approval, the required
public hearings havzng heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Commzsslon and the C~ty Council
