1965-022 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, 1961, AS SAF~E WAS ADOPTED AS A PART
OF PARTS II AND III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 61-19, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO PORTIONS
OF BLOCK 3015 OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN. AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION Ir
That the Zonzng Map of the City of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under the
provlszons of Ordinance No. 61-19 be, and the same ~s hereby
amended as follows
Ail of the hereinafter described property ~s hereby
removed from the "R"-Dwellmng Dzstr~ct as shown on
said map, and all provisions of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance 61-19, shall
hereafter apply to sazd property as "A-2" - Dwellmng
District mn the same manner as other property located
· n the "A-2" Dwellmng Dmstr~ct
Lots 12 through 19 of Block 3015 -- Located on the
east side of Avenue G between Stella and Loumse Streets
SECTION II.
That the Czty Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby
finds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promotzng the general welfare of the
C~ty df Denton, Texas~ and w~th reasonable conszderat~on, among
other thlngs~ for the character of the dlstr~ct and for ~ts
peculiar sultab~llty or particular uses, and wzth a vlew to
conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most
appropriate uses of land for the maximum benefzt to the C~ty
of Denton, Texas, and its citizens
SECTION III,
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
zmmed~ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public
hearzngs hav~ng heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commzss~on and the C~ty Counczl.
