AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS ESTABLISHING LEASE RATES
AND OTHER RATES FOR AVIATION AND NON-AVIATION RELATED DEVELOPMENT
AT THE DENTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Airport Advisory Board has reviewed and recommended approval of
lease rates and other rates for aviation and non-aviation related development at the Denton
Municipal Airport as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference
(the "Aviation Rates"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Aviation Rates are in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS HERBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The findings and recitations contained in the preamble of this ordinance
are incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The Aviation Rates are hereby approved. The Aviation Rates may be
adjusted by utilizing the "U.S. City Average Consumer Price Index-All Urban Consumers (CPI-
U) from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Southwestern Statistical Summary, Special Index-All
Items Shelter". This ordinance will not affect the validity of any rates currently provided for in
any existing lease or agreement nor will this ordinance preclude the City from adopting different
rates in subsequent agreements.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
