AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR THE ANNUAL PAYMENT OF THE CONSOLIDATED WATER QUALITY
FEE FOR THE PECAN CREEK WATER RECLAMATION PLANT; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE (FILE 2983 TO THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL
QUALITY IN THE AMOUNT OF $65,045).
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the contract commitment to the Texas Commission on
Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the City of Denton is required to pay the Consolidated Water
Quality Fee for the Pecan Creek Water Reclamation Plant; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed and recommended that the City Council approve
and authorize the payment of such fees; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the expenditure of funds in the amount of $65,045 to be paid to the
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is hereby authorized.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
