AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TI-IE CALENDAR YEAR 2003 ("CY2003") BUDGETS FOR
THE USE OF HOTEL TAX REVENUE BY THE GREATER DENTON ARTS COUNCIL,
THE DENTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, AND THE NORTH TEXAS STATE FAIR;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the CY2003 budgets for the use of hotel tax revenue by the Greater
Denton Arts Council, the Denton Chamber of Commerce, and the North Texas State Fair,
attached as Exhibits A, B, and C hereto, and incorporated by reference herein, are hereby
approved, subject to the limitations contained within each entity's currently existing hotel tax
contract with the City of Denton, Texas.
SECTION II. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and approval.
