AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF WASTEWATER RATES CONTAINED
IN ORDINANCE NO 2000-295 FOR WASTEWATER SERVICE BY AMENDING THE
COMPOST & WOOD MULCH SCHEDULE (CWM), PROVIDING FOR A REPEALER,
PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~qF{CTION 1 That the prowmons of rate schedule for wastewater servme, Compost &
Wood Mulch (CWM) as prowded for m Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances, ~s hereby amended
to read as stated m the Amended Schedule CWM attached hereto
S.EC_2X]N_~ That all ordinances or parts of ordinances ~n fome when the prowmons of
tNs ordinance became effective which are ~nconmstent, or in conflict w~th the terms or provlmons
contmned ~n tins ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of any such confltct
SF.C. TIONT 3. That ff any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word
in tNs orchnance, or apphcat~on thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid by any court
of competent junsdmt~on, such holding shall not affect the vahdlty of the remarmng portions of tNs
ordinance, and the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares it would have
enacted such remmmng portions despite any such lnvahd~ty
S~,CTION 4. That the Schedule of Rates herein adopted shall be effective, charged and
apphed to all wastewater serwce provided herein, rendered on or after March 1, 2001, and a copy of
smd rates, fees, and charges shall be mmntatned on file m the Office of the C~ty Secretary

Apphcable to any and all customers, whether residential, commercial, or wholesale, which elect
to acquire the C~ty of Denton Dyno Products for their use The City of Denton reserves the right
to restrict or hmit the sale of any Dyno Products to any customer at any time

quantities will not be sold in volumes less than one-half yard

(B) Wood Mulch
(1) Dyno Mulch $15 00 Cubic Yard
(2) Dyno Chips $7 50 Cubic Yard
Purchases for A and B above
Greater than 10 cubic yards will recewe a 20% discount, or
Greater than 100 cubic yards will receive a 40% &scount, or
Greater than 2,000 cubic yards will receive a 50% discount
lC) The C~ty of Denton ~ntemal/interdepartmental price for all Dyno products 50% discount
(D) One cubic foot bags of Dyno D~rt (50 bag minimum purchase) $1 35 per bag

quant~tles The C~ty of Denton does not guarantee the availability of either product, and
expressly reserves the right to restrict the sale of either product based upon available volumes
