AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AND THE DENTON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A WIDE-AREA NETWORK,
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City, a
First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Denton, Texas and the Denton
Independent School District for the implementation of a wide-area network involving the City's
fiber optic network, a copy of which First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement is attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein, as well as any documents related thereto which
Denton Independent School District may reasonably require
SECTION 2 That the expenditure of funds as set forth in the First Amendment to the
Interlocal Agreement is hereby authorized
SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and approval
