DEVELOPMENT ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND USE DESIGNATION ALLOWING MULTI-FAMILY USES FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 787 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED AT 1005-1009 WILSON STREET WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF WILSON STREET, EAST OF BRADSHAW AND WEST OF RUDDELL, APPROVING A CONCEPT PLAN, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $2,000 00 FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF, PROViDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE (Z-01-0010) WHEREAS, Rmhard Franco, on behalf of Denton Houmng Authority ~mtlated a change ~n zoning for 1 785 acres of land fi.om Single-family (SF-7) zomng dmtnct elassffieanon and use demgnatlon to Multi-Family (MF-1) zomng district classfficatlon and use demgnaUon, and WHEREAS, on June 27, 2001 the Planning and Zoning Commission concluded a pubhc heanng as reqmred by law, and recommended denial of the requested zoning change, and WHEREAS, the C~ty Council finds that the change in zoning xs eonmstent w~th The Denton Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON
