2001-384AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ASSIGNMENT PAY FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT
EMPLOYEES WHO ARE ASSIGNED TO PERFORM SPECIALIZED FUNCTIONS OF
FIELD TRAINING OFFICER 1N THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Sectmn 143 042 of the Local Government Code authorizes a munlmpalaty to
pay assignment pay wluch as ~n an amount and ~s payable under con&taons set by ordanance, and
WHEREAS, the Caty Manager and Fare Chaef hawng recommended that the F~re
Department employees are assigned to perform the spemahzed duties of Faeld Trmmng Officer
should receave assignment pay of Seventy-Five Dollars and No Cents ($75 00) per month, NOW
THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the F~re Department employees who are assigned to perform the
speclahzcd duties of F~eld Trmmng Officer shall receive assignment pay of Seventy-Fave Dollars
and No Cents ($75 00) per month m addttaon to the regular monthly salary for their classfficataon
