WHEREAS, the C~ty Council has considered and approved the payment of the C~ty of
Denton annual dues, now due and ovnng, to the Texas Pubhc Power Assocmt~on ("TPPA"), an
assoemt~on of mumeapal electric utilities and cooperatives m the State of Texas, m the amount of
$27,144 m order to maintain memberstup m the organization, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the Cxty Manager ~s hereby authorized to pay the sum of $27,144
d~reetly to the Texas Pubhc Power Association, for annual dues for the current accounting

SECTION 2 That this ordinance shall become effectave ~mmedlately upon ~ts passage
and approval
