AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE
RENAMING OF STALLION WAY TO BIG HORN TRAIL, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on March 7, 2000, the final plat of Sundown Ranch, Phase 2, was filed for
record in Cabinet R, Page 270 of the Plat Records of Denton County, Texas, and
WHEREAS, other street names of similar spelling and pronunciation to "Stallion Way"
already exist within the corporate Denton city limits, and
WHEREAS, said renaming will simplify street names and provide for more consistent
addressing, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
$E TC ION 1 The street officially designated as Stallion Way, being a public street
connecting Pinto Drive to Hollow Ridge Drive, as illustrated in the attached Exhibit "A", which
is incorporated and made a part hereof, is renamed to Big Horn Trail
SECTION 2 That the Director of Planning and Development is directed to amend the
official map of the City of Denton to reflect the change in the street name as provided herein
SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and approval
