AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR THE QUARTERLY PAYMENTS OF THE SOLID WASTE SURCHARGE,
AND PRQVIDING AND EFFECTIVE DATE (PURCHASE ORDER 10010 TO T N R C C 1N
THE AMOUNT OF $150,000 00)
WHEREAS, ~n order to comply w~th the contract comm~tmem to Texas Natural Resource
Conservation Commission (TNRCC), the C~ty of Denton is reqmred to pay a Sohd Waste Surcharge,
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has rewewed and recommended that the City Council approve
and authorize the payment of such fees, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the expenditure of funds in the amount of $150,000 00 to be paid to the
Texas Natural Resource Conservation Comm~smon (TNRCC) is hereby authorized
SECTION 2 That th~s ordinance shall become effective immediately upon ~ts passage and
approval
