AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMPETITIVE BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
THE LEASE OF A MODULAR OFFICE BUILDING, PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS THEREFORE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (BID 2587 - LEASE OF
MODULAR BUILDING TO G E MODULAR SPACE IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,462 00 FOR 36
MONTHS)
WHEREAS, the City has sohelted, received and tabulated competalve b~ds for the purchase of
necessary materials, equlpmem, supphes or serwces tn accordance w~th the procedures of STATE law
and Clty ordinances, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a designated employee has rexaewed and recomn~nded that
the hereto described bids are the lowest responsible bids for the materials, equipment, supphes or
sermces as shown m the "Bid Proposals" subpmtted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the Cay Courted has provided tn the City Budget for the appropriation of funds
to be used for the purchase of the materials, eqmpment, supphes or services approved and accepted
hereto, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I That the numbered aems m the following numbered bids for materials,
equipment, supphes, or sermces, shown m the "Bid Proposals" listed hereon, and on file tn the office
of the Purchasmg Agent, are hereby approved

SECTION II That by the acceptance and approval of the above numbered items of the
submatted bids, the City accepts the offer of the persons subrmttmg the bids for such items and agrees

spectficatlons, standards, quantities and for the spectfied sums contained m the Bid Inwtatlons, Bid
Proposals, and related documents
SECTION III That should the City and persons submitting approved and accepted ~tems and
of the subrmtted bids wish to enter into a formal written agreement as a result of the acceptance,
approval, and awarding of the Inds, the City Manager or las designated represematlve ~s hereby
anthonzed to execute the written contract winch shall be attached hereto, prowded that the written
contract is ua accordance with the terms, conditions, specrfiCatlOns, standards, quantmes and specafied
sums contained m the Bid Proposal and related documents hereto approved and accepted
SECTION IV That by the acceptance and approval of the above numbered items of the
subrmtted hets, the Cay Council hereby anthonzes the expendfture of funds therefor m the amount
and m accordance vath the approved bids or pursuant to a written contract made pursuant thereto as
authorized hereto
