AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE
RENAMING OF WILLOW SPRINGS DRIVE TO TEASLEY LANE, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, property owners adjacent to Willow Spnngs Drive have petitioned the City
of Denton to change the name of Willow Spnngs Drive to Teasley Lane, and
WHEREAS, smd renaming will slmphfy street names and prowde for more consistent
addressing, and
WHEREAS, the Planmng and Zomng Commission of the City of Denton conducted a
pubhc heanng on December 2, 1998, and recommends renaming of Willow Spnngs Drive to
Teasley Lane, NOW, THEREFORE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ That the street officially designated as Willow Spnngs Dnve, being a
pubhc street from its mtersect~on w~th Dallas Drive to 1ts northern tenmnus as illustrated ~n the
attached Exhibit "A", which ~s incorporated and made a part hereof, ~s renamed to Teasley Lane
~ That the D~rector of Planmng and Development ~s directed to amend the
officml map of the City of Denton to reflect the change m the street name as prowded herem
~ That th~s ordinance shall become effective lmmedmtely upon ~ts passage
and approval
