1999-026AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMPETITIVE BIDS AND AWARDiNG AN ANNUAL CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) SUPPLIES, PROVIDING FOR
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (BD #2311
- EMS SUPPLIES AWARDED AS LISTED ON ORDINANCE EXHIBITS A, B, AND C, ESTIMATED
ANNUAL EXPENDITURE IS APPROXIMATELY $120,000)
WHEREAS, the City has sohmted, recmved and tabulated competitive Nds for the purchase
of necessary materials, eqmpment, supphas or semces ~n accordance with the procedures of STATE
law and City ordinances, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a designated employee has reviewed and recommended
that the herem described Nds are the lowest responmble Nds for the materials, eqmpment, supphes
or servmes as shown m the "B~d Proposals" submitted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the C~ty Cotmml has prowded m the City Budget for the appropriation of funds
to be used for the purchase of the materials, eqmpment, supphes or servmes approved and accepted
hereto, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS

eqmpment, supphes, or servmes, shown m the "B~d Proposals" attached hereto, are hereby accepted
and approved as being the lowest responmble Nds for such ~tems
