AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING COMPETITIVE BIDS AND AWARDING AN ANNUAL
CONTRACT FOR MOWING SERVICES, PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (BID #2331 - ANNUAL CODE
ENFORCEMENT MOWING CONTRACT TO S A S CONTRACTORS IN THE ESTIMATED
ANNUAL EXPENDITURE OF $23,000)
WHEREAS, the Caty has sohcated, recetved and tabulated competatave bads for the purchase
of necessary materials, equapment, supplaes or servtces an accordance wtth the procedures of STATE
law and City orchnances, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager or a designated employee has rewewed and recommended
that the here~n described bads are the lowest responstble bads for the materials, eqmpment, supplaes
or servaces as shown m the "Bad Proposals" submitted therefore, and
WHEREAS, the Ctty Counctl has prowded In the Ctty Budget for the appropnatton of funds
to be used for the purchase of the matenals, equapment, supplaes or services approved and accepted
herean, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ That the numbered atems an the followtng numbered bids for materials,
eqmpment, supphes, or services, shown tn the "B~d Proposals" attached hereto, are hereby accepted
and approved as being the lowest responsable bads for such ttems

specaficatlons, standards, quantttaes and for the spemfied sums contmned an the Bad Inmtatlons, Bid
Proposals, and related documents

and of the submatted bids wash to enter into a formal written agreement as a result of the acceptance,
approval, and awarding of the bads, the Caty Manager or has destgnated representative ~s hereby
authorized to execute the written contract whtch shall be attached hereto, provtded that the written
contract ~s an accordance with the terms, condataons, speclficataons, standards, quantttaes and
spemfied sums contmned m the Bad Proposal and related documents herein approved and accepted
~ That by the acceptance and approval of the above numbered ~tems of the
submitted b~ds, the C~ty Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of funds therefor ~n the mount
and m accordance w~th the approved b~ds or pursuant to a written contract made pursuant thereto as
