ONLYIONE SOURCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF STATE LAW EXEMPTING
SUCH ~PURCHASES FROM REQUntEMENTS OF COMPETiTiVE BIDS, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE (PURCHASE ORDER 92855 - INTEGRATED COMPUTER SYSTEMS, INC (ICS)
IN THE AMOUNT OF $281,105 89)
WHEREAS, Section 252 022 of the Local Government Code prowdes that procurement of
items that are only available from one source, including, items that are only available from one
source becanse of patents, copyright% secret processes or natural monopolies, films, manuscripts or
books, electnctty, gas, water and other ut~hty purchases, captive replacement parts or components
for eqmpment, and hbrary matenals for a pubhc hbrary that are avanlable only from the persons
holchng exclusive dlsmbut~on rights to the materials, need not be subnntted to competitive bids, and
WHEREAS. the C~ty Counc~l wishes to procure one or more of the items mentioned m the
above paragraph, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
~ That the following purchase ofmatenals, equipment or supplies, as descnbed
in the "Purchase Orders" attached hereto, are hereby approved ,.

to the items specified ~n Section I and the expenditure of funds pursuant to sand contracts is hereby
authonzed
