THE PLAT RECORDS OF DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF JASON DRIVE, NORTH OF LONDONDERRY LANE AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Denton has rectuved a request for abandonment of a certmn 25-
foot fire lane easement, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Denton, Texas
reviewed the requested abandonment and recommended approval, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Denton, Texas has determined that the fire lane
easement being vacated ~s no longer needed for pubhc use s~nce the Ftre Code reqmres substitute
access wtuch the developer has prowded, and
WHEREAS, the ftur market value of the fire lane easement has been determined and
received, as reqmred by section 272 001 of the Texas Local Government Code, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I. That the 25-foot fire lane easement described ~n Exhibit A, attached hereto
and ~ncorporated here~n by reference, and recorded in Cabinet F, Page 317 of the Plat Records of
Denton County, Texas as it perttuns to Lot 1, Block A of the Residence II Ad&tlon, an addition
to the C~ty of Denton, Texas, ~s hereby permanently vacated and extlngmshed as a public
easement, to the extent described ~n stud exhibit
~ That by reason of such vacation the City of Denton's property interest in
the vacated portion of smd easement shall, by operation of law, revert to the owner or owners
abutting the easement here~n abandoned, and the City of Denton releases any and all cltums to
the use of the vacated porhon of stud property as a pubhc easement
SECTION III That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon ~ts passage
and approval
