SATURDAY, MARCH 14 Registration—All Day NLC University Sessions —All Day Board Committee Meetings—Afternoon NLC Board of Directors Event— Evening SUNDAY, MARCH 15 Registration—All Day NLC Board of Directors Meeting- Morning NLC Board &Advisory Council Luncheon First Time Attendee Lunch (Ticket Required) Federal Advocacy Committee Meetings—Afternoon Advisory Council Meeting—Afternoon Member Council Meetings—Afternoon Constituency Group Membership Meetings and events—Evening MONDAY, MARCH 16 Registration —All Day Opening General Session — Morning Press Conference Conference Workshops— Morning Networking Lunch Strategic Partner Luncheon Conference Workshops—Afternoon Afternoon General Session Member Council & Constituency Group Meetings —Afternoon/Evening Evening Events - League Receptions and Constituency Group events TUESDAY, MARCH 17 Registration —All Day Conference Workshops— Morning Delegates General Session Luncheon Federal Agency Office Hours and NLC Program Expo—Afternoon Hill Day Training—Afternoon Member Council & Constituency Group Meetings —Afternoon/Evening State League Receptions NLC All Delegates Evening Reception Late Night Partner Reception WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18 Grab and Go Breakfast for Hill Day participants NLC Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill —All Day Proclamation by the Rapor of the UP of Menton, San to all to bibom tbege Pregentg oball come, (breetingg: WHEREAS, The Salvation Army Denton provides important services to the community,including recreational activities for active adults; a 40-bed emergency overnight shelter for those experiencing homelessness, additional support for anyone facing poverty; a food pantry; all supervised by trained,commissioned officers who have dedicated their lives completely to service;and WHEREAS, these services are provided free of charge made possible through the financial support of local citizens who can help,including The Salvation Army's annual red kettle campaign;and WHEREAS, The Salvation Army of Denton is seeking volunteers to fill more than 1,000 two-hour shifts as bell ringers to reach their red kettle goal of$60,000 for this year's holiday campaign.Just two hours of your time can provide a night of shelter for ten individuals, 50 hot meals,or gifts for a forgotten angel this season,and you can be a critical partner in helping fulfill the promise to Denton of"Doing the Most Good." NOW,THEREFORE, I,Gerard Hudspeth,Mayor of the City of Denton.Texas,do hereby declare and proclaim the 2025 holiday season in Denton as "THE SEASON TO GIVE WITH JOY TO THE SALVATION ARMY" in the City of Denton and urge all citizens to go to RegisterToRing.com and pick a day, time, and location to volunteer as a bell ringer for The Salvation Army between Thanksgiving and Christmas and provide hope for our neighbors this year.
