WHEREAS, Save the Earth from A to Z(ASEZ), a university student volunteer group of the
World Mission Society Church of God, promotes volunteerism, environmental
protection,and social wellbeing in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable
Development goals; and
WHEREAS, ASEZ students from the University of North Texas, through their registered
student organization — the Truth Bible Study Club — actively serve the
community through projects inspired by their participation in the 2025 United
Nations High-Level Political Forum and Global Plastic Reduction Forum; and
WHEREAS, on November 9,2025,ASEZ volunteers across multiple Texas cities,including
Denton, will host the ASEZ United Cleanup to foster environmental
stewardship,community pride,and youth-led leadership for a cleaner and more
sustainable future.
NOW,THEREFORE, I, Gerard Hudspeth, Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, do hereby proclaim
November 9,2025 as
"ASEZ DAY"
in the City of Denton, Texas, and encourage all residents to join in supporting
ASEZ's ongoing efforts to build a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable
community for present and future generations.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
