Full reopening is scheduled for Monday, Oct.28.Scheduled closures will be available on the City’s social media outlets. Valley, Georgia, but were then reassigned to Adel,Georgia, based on restoration needs. The duration of the restoration effort has not been determined at this time. The restored website shows the 2 vote history up to April 2023. Based on the Council direction received on May 7, 2024, the website will be updated to reflect Council history from May 2023 to present in November 2024. Watering restrictions are expected to be lifted in mid-October whenthe filter replacement project is complete at the Lake Lewisville Water Treatment Plant. Staff contact: Stephen Gay, Water Utilities C.Tax Credit for Affordable Apartments – On Sept. 23, Mayor Pro Tem Meltzer inquiredabout tax credits for affordable apartments. The rent for affordable apartments depends onthe geographic location and the Area Median Income (AMI) formula, including income amount, household size, and number of bedrooms. Since AMI changes annually these limits change accordingly. In Denton, the calculation isbased on Dallas, Texas HUD Metro Area. The Area Median Income for a household offour is $110,300, as of 2024. Rent limits based on Area Median Family Income (AMFI) are shown below: If a property is supported by Housing Tax Credits, rents will vary based on the specific Land Use Restriction Agreements (LURA) for each property. The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) oversees these properties and compliance.
